Our Mission

When we became adults, we inherited boxes full of VHS tapes and physical photo albums with all of our childhood memories. What will we pass on to our children? An iCloud password? We founded PicPocket to recreate the feeling of receiving that ‘box’. Memories are not the same thing as just a collection of images and videos; they tell a story. PicPocket’s mission is to help people tell their stories and keep them safe for future generations.

Our Team

PicPocket.io was founded by Amr Shawky, alongside three founding engineers: Glenn Sampayan, Egzon Pllana and Mohamed Ashraf. Collectively, they have more than 35 years of experience building software and technology.
